Indications
Famotidine is indicated in the treatment of Duodenal ulcers and prevention of relapses of duodenal ulceration.
Ingredients
Active Ingredient (per tablet) : Famotidine 20 mg. Inactive ingredients: Corn Starch, Magnesium Stearate, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Opadry White (03F680021), Lactose Hydrate, Carboxymethyl Cellulose Calcium.
Directions
Adults only : The usual dosage is 20mg twice a day with breakfast and at bedtime. Alternatively, for patients with duodenal or benign gastric ulceration, a single daily dose of 40mg at bedtime can be used.
